Listeners, we are back this week with Marisa Ybarra-Williams

Today, we are joined by the incredible Marisa Ybarra-Williams, a Mexican American attorney and partner at a prestigious law firm in Texas. Throughout our conversation, Marisa shares her personal and professional growth, from navigating cultural differences to overcoming imposter syndrome and self-doubt. We delve into her journey from feeling like an outsider to finding her voice and owning her achievements, offering invaluable insights into the power of pivoting and taking control of one's narrative.

Marisa Ybarra - Williams is a partner at a prestigious law firm in Texas where she routinely represents some of the largest companies in the Country. After attending the best Law School in Texas and landing her first job, she naively believed the struggle was over. The road to success, however, was anything but easy. Over the course of the last 20 years, she has encountered numerous challenges, barriers and obstacles. Through it all, she learned to lean on her faith, culture, uniqueness, and embraced the parts of her that should have been an impediment. She now uses her years of experience to empower women to tap into their voice, take back control, and lean into the powerful woman they were given to be.
